Gabriella Fermo, Founder & Principal
Gabriella designs and delivers learning and leadership development programs for corporate and consulting organizations. In recognition of her work, Canadian HR Reporter has named Gabriella one of The Top 25 HR Professionals in Canada for two consecutive years.
Originally a change management consultant with a global consulting firm, Gabriella transferred her knowledge to the HR world where she implemented numerous human capital initiatives that engaged and aligned employees with business goals and organizational change. Committed to making a meaningful contribution to the development of others, she founded Raising The Bar in 2008 and started teaching post-graduate courses leading to the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. Gabriella’s more than two decades of relevant, real-world experience deepens her understanding of the business issues that clients face everyday and aids in developing optimal solutions.
Gabriella graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science Degree with distinction in Industrial Relations and Psychology. She is a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® practitioner, qualified to administer all Level B psychometric self-assessment tools, a Langevin Master Trainer, certified in Prosci’s change management methodology, and earned the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation.
